Nino Romano 21 said he felt degraded after being detained in a police car when challenged on his way to work by an officer citing Covid legislation.Mr Romano accused him of being “power hungry”.The government’s website says police might stop members of the public to ask their name, their purpose in the area and where they are going, but people do not have to stop or answer.It adds not giving the detail cannot be used as a basis for search or arrest if there is no other reason to suspect a person
Officer is a clown, how can he possibly think that is a reasonable way to behave. Well done for standing your ground nino – this should be sent over to the crimebodge channel. This cop is an embarrassment to his profession and colleagues. Rude, unprofessional and in need of ‘re training, or maybe a career change. Yes where the arresting officer can be suspended for his actions.. Disgusting attitude.. No doubt he, ll get a month off, full pay and retrained.. At home..
There is always more than one cop in these videos. And the other cops never step in and say, ‘hey, remember that training we had when we were told to be respectful?’ or ‘hey, you are wrong about the law there, we cannot stop people without a reason’. That never ever happens. FAIL FAIL FAIL. Pathetic. Fire the clown.
