If you suspect that you are dating a sociopath, it’s important to seek help from an online counselor or therapist who is knowledgeable about these issues. These symptoms may include a repeated and chronic pattern of indifference and complete contempt for others, although there is no fixed list of sociopath characteristics.  Additional symptoms associated with sociopathy are –

  1. Dishonesty and deceit, include utilizing false identities and manipulating/misleading people for personal advantage.

  2. Disregarding social norms and regulations, the tendency to disobey rules at school or work, stepping outside social boundaries by performing acts of stealing, stalking, threatening others, and causing damage to life and property.

  3. Violent and agitated behavior, such as engaging in physical fights and disputes, with no concern for one’s own safety or the safety of others.

  4. Difficulties planning ahead and restraining one’s impulses, or acting without taking the repercussions into account.

  5. Difficulties in managing obligations such as showing difficulty in managing duties, paying rent, academics or work, etc.

  6. a lack of regret or shame, or an inability to rationalize activities that have a negative impact

ASPD is a spectrum condition, meaning some people may just have a few characteristics. Even those with a diagnosis of ASPD on the lower end of the spectrum are not the kind of people you want to be in a romantic relationship with. The majority of sociopaths happen to be incredibly charming and extremely likable. They can ascertain exactly what you want and need in a relationship since they are like disguised beings. They will lure you in, then injure and exploit you as a result of their actions. They are experts in misleading others, and it’s possible that just about all the information they’ve given you concerning past or present life is accurate.

If you catch them being deceitful they’ll probably become enraged and criticize you for the whole situation. They frequently start acting dreaded and violent or just disappear or withdraw themselves without any information/explanations.

They are dishonest and exploit others for their own monetary advantage or interest. This may range from a minor deception about where they were when they ignored their phone to having a fully-fledged secret life and family in a different state. It could be completely possible that you find your material things vanishing from your house, or finding out that you’ve been paying for both of your finances the whole time. They struggle with keeping jobs, making monthly payments on time, and fulfilling commitments. They are going to pester you for money, a place to live, food to eat, or anything else they require. Make sure they don’t mislead you by doing so.

You may find them being reckless and having no concern for their own safety and yours, per se. Regardless of how comfortable you are, they will encourage unprotected sex or risky behavior in the bedroom. Before you even suspect what is happening, they will persuade you into it because they are charming and confident. You and your boundaries are definitely disrespected by them. They will try to shape you into the person they want you to be since they lack the ability to hear “no” and won’t accept it as an answer. Your limits will be pushed to the point of breaking so they can have their way.

One major trait is aggressiveness. The majority of those like this have a history of violent incidents. They are so easily upset that you may find yourself walking on thin ice. They often display irritability and hostility. It is very possible that emotional, physical, or sexual abuse can stem from this. They could also come across as being highly impulsive. They continually adjust their thoughts or plans in accordance with their feelings. They have a hard time following through on plans because their emotions tend to be transient.

The inability to feel empathy for others is a significant characteristic of sociopaths. Even if they harm someone, they are unable to feel sympathy for them or understand the damage they have done.

The worst of all is that they refuse to change, whether or not confronted. unlike most individuals who learn from experiences and grow, Sociopaths never evolve and will always violate limits and norms.

It is obvious that there are many explanations why having a healthy romantic relationship with someone like this is impossible. So, If they even mildly showcase three to four of the given signs and symptoms, it is an indication for you to BOUNCE ASAP!
