Adekunle Kosoko, professionally known as Adekunle Gold, is a Nigerian highlife singer, songwriter and graphic designer.  He rose to limelight after releasing the 2015 hit single “Sade”, a highlife cover of One Direction’s “Story of My Life”

Some of his songs are Orente, Ire, Promise, Before you wake up, My Life, Ariwoko, among others.

The popular Nigerian Artise – Adekunle Gold talked about his passion for graphics design, swimming, dancing.  

His love for traditions and culture especially Yoruba customs is unparralled and could be seen from his knowledge of Yoruba culture where he rendered his lineage panegyric.  He love and promotion of locally made Adire fabric is outstanding.

Apart from singing, he has a deep interests in Graphic designs.

Adekunle Gold cherish his parents and he fondly recalled a time when her Mom used to say that he was sounding like “Iya Bose”, one of their neighbours when singing.

He also used the interview to talk about one “Sade” whom he fancied and was trying to woo but refused his advances.  He later wrote a song about that experience which became a hit single “Sade”.
