Thats not sizzling – its virgin olive oil going way past its smoke point and adding carcinogens in your food. Here is how i would improve this more than 100%: Too much Oil for the Egg – too little for the chicken, and you burnt the egg while you never got a sear on the meat. Dont use olive oil – use any oil with a high smoke point (and the olive oil flavor isnt compatible with fried rice) Add the Garlic before the Onion products to sear and char the garlic. Use Ginger instead of Turmeric – again that dont go Fluff the rice before putting it in the Wok Add Sesame Flavored oil at some point Better selection of vegetables – like sprouts, green peppers, mushrooms – peas and carrots is for the English. Also in my country when using a Wok over fire the cooks know how to flip the rice so that it hits the fire and gets a smoky flavor.
